Japan's mysterious forest of suicide!
Aokigahara is an evergreen forest situated on the foothills of Mount Fuji on Honshu Island in Japan. The number of trees in this forest is so much that this forest is also called tree-sea. Some people also call this forest as the forest of davil. But this forest is most known as the forest of suicides. Many people commit suicide every year in Aokigahara forest. There are many people dead body scattered everywhere in the forest.
Every year from Aokigahara forest, police recovered dead bodies of at least 12 people. According to a statistic, in 1990, 30 people committed suicide in the forest. This number increased to 108 in the year 2004. In 2010, 247 people attempted suicide. 54 of them died.

What is the reason for suicide in this forest?
You will be surprised if all the stories of suicide coming into this forest are heard. These forests are scattered all over the skeleton, their used clothes, bags, watches and many abandoned cars lying on the entrance. They came back to the forest and did not go back! Many stories have about this forest. The most credible story of this is that in 1960, a Japanese novel 'Kuro Kaizu' was published in the name of Secheo Matsumoto. The novel ends with a boyfriend-girlfriend suicide in Aukigahara forest. Many people think that the famous novel creates deep feelings and emotions in the reader, which encourages them to commit suicide by visiting their Aakigahara forests.
Then in 1993, the book 'The Complete Suicide Manual' was published by another Japanese author Watemu Tasurumui. Curiously, this book also mentions Aokigahara Ban as the right place for suicide. It is a matter of fact that this book was written by Watertur, found beside several corpses buried in the forest.
