Homemade Granola Bars

This is my second try at making granola bars. The first batch I made was a tad too sweet. So this time around, I reduced the amount of honey and brown sugar.

The ingredients I used are with what I had in my pantry.

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup roasted sunflower seeds
1/4 cup roasted almond slivers
1/4 cup chopped dried cranberries
1/2 cup muesli

1/4 cup butter
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

I melted the butter, honey, brown sugar, salt and cinnamon in medium heat. When the sugar has melted and mixture well blended, turn off heat.

Combine the rest of the ingredients in the gooey mixture and transfer to a well oiled and lined square cake tin. Press the contents and refrigerate for at least a day before removing from the cake tin. Cut the compressed granola into bars.
