Why do modern women not want to have children?
Most women grow up believing that one day they will eventually find a man and have children. This is probably considered as the "normal" thing to do.
But, recently, the more women who think this, the more they realize they do not want to have children.
And, according to them, these are some of the most common reasons why they do not want to have kids:
All environmental problems can be reduced if there are fewer people on the planet
You have to keep in mind that if you call someone selfish just because they do not want to have children, it hurts them a lot. When you look at the most alarming environmental issues, the cause of almost all of them is the large number of people on the planet. Simply, we are consuming and destroying more than we can.
They do not want to develop mental problems
We live in the ages of distress and depression. And this serves as a reason for many women not to give birth because they do not want their child to experience the same pain.
Pregnancy brings great physical pain
Even in the 21st century, baby's birth remains a very difficult physical process. And for most women it is a process they do not want to pass.
Modern women want to travel the world!
To be honest, having children makes traveling elsewhere a difficult thing.
Modern women want to enjoy Vietnamese road food, conquer Everest Peak and celebrate on Thai beaches.
I absolutely love my 3 children. They are my entire world (especially being a stay at home momma!). I have a twin sister who has no kids. One of the biggest reasons is that she wants to be able to travel and go on a seconds notice. I definitely can not do that! Being a mom has its ups and downs, and not having kids does as well. I agree, it's so imparitive to support whatever decision is made and not expect that all women want children. It doesn't make them selfish, having a child and still trying to live like you have no responsibilty is selfish. Not having children because of what you want in life is saving the selfishness that may come by having them. Lets encourage and support eachother instead of judging a woman for not wanting kids 💗
