I think it is important that values and human rights become fashionable. It is not bad at all to be a little children again and love everything around us again, admire our planet as if it were the first time we know it. Our earth cries for help, our plants and flowers require our love. The seeds of the trees hope that we plant them together. Our rivers and animals need us, united. I thought it is important to spread a new fashion, to be more human and to become aware that everything is in our care. We can do better.
You know @mjzo , its so strange that you talk of the need for people to refind the child lost buried beneath the years of work and toil to pay thier adult life ! Its so sad that we dont give children more time to be what they are and to show them their need of relationship and care for their enviroment, the nature,animals and the fellow humans that share space !! Why arent schools more human ? Why do we force children to count like robots ! Why do we stamp the dreams from their heads so early, no time to be themselves and feel who they are and want to be ?? I loved your post as its so what we need to do right now at the present crossroads in which mankind finds itself ! We do need to refind a new foothold on this planet, to have understanding and care yes , its so true ! So lets unite in this new quest of care and love for this jewel in the Universe which is our world, its fields rivers and the creatures that share this beauty with us ! So power to your power @mjzo !
It's exactly what I think, now everyone wants accustomed to the same doctrine of thought. Forcing children to remain still and to be only spectators of their learning process, does not give good results, only creates robots that repeat everything they are told.
It is important to teach children to be aware of the feelings and abilities of others, to learn to regulate their emotions and to spontaneously recognize that all actions have consequences.
The world needs to stop the indifference, being indifferent to suffering is what makes the human inhuman, indifference is friend of the enemy, and only benefits his aggressor, it is always easier to turn to another side, hide the pain, to be indifferent we send to those who suffer in exile from human memory.
Oh we do as agree on this @mjzo, indifference, apathy and the walking blind with no soul ! We are surrounded by these " robots" with no heart or feelings for others ! The self centered sociopath with no empathy is a coomon being in this world created on children robbed of their humanity by the " schooling" that serves this very purpose ! This is so true and the war begins and ends in the school for sure ! We have a choice there ! Do we create and build beautiful thinking creatures capable of helping this world to be better or do we continue to build these " creatures" of consomption who think only of their belly and who do not see or even care for the others that share this place with them ?? One thing for sure your perfectly worded explanation does not leave me indifferent to you and your clear mission and need to make change for the better in this world !
