The year of Death?
Hasn't 2016 been a SHIT year as far as Death goes?
I can't think of any other year that hasn't seen the end of so many talented people.
The latest being Andrew Sachs (Manuel from Fawlty Towers)
Though what legacies all these celebrities have left, the lives they've touched and the memories they've left behind.
When everything else is considered, isn't that what life SHOULD be about though?
Yet so many of us lead a life of mediocrity. Living an unfulfilling life, chasing things that don't really matter.
Stuck in jobs we either hate or just about tolerate. A few lucky ones actually LOVE their jobs..but they are in the minority.
But that's the lesson we should learn from all these deaths.
LIVE!
Before it's too late LIVE!
Find out what matters and pursue that. To each of us that thing will be different, and finding a way to survive doing that thing may be difficult. But as those celebrities have demonstrated, our passions are usually shared by others.
The trick is finding those others, or making it easy for those others to find us.
Now more than at any other time in history it's far easier to turn passion into profit, and allow all the other more mundane
matters in life to take care of themselves.
So to all those who have left us this year, celebrities or otherwise, farewell. You will be missed.
Thank you for everything.
