In this post, I'm going to outline my daily time management strategy. We all have the same 24 hours each day, so the basis of my strategy, is to maximize my personal productivity each day.

Here is the basic structure of a typical day in my life:

My day is a series of 90 minute periods of focussed effort or concentration, and 30 minute periods of rest and meal breaks.

Scientific studies have indicated that Humans are able to focus or concentrate for about 90 minutes at a time.

Other scientific studies have indicated that having 5-6 small meals throughout the day, is more beneficial to the body than having three big meals during the day.

I have incorporated these two concepts into my day structure. I dedicate 90 minute intervals to 5-6 productive task throughout the day.

I have found that I am able to focus quite well on each task, and my overall productivity has benefitted from the process.
