The three friends

It is said that there were three friends who wanted to climb a mountain. At his top was a wise old man whom they wanted to know.
At one point they reach a crossroads, and each one chooses another path.

The first one chose a steep path, climbing straight to the top. She did not care about the dangers, she wanted to reach the old man at the top of the mountain as quickly as possible.
The second way was not as steep, but it was a narrow and rugged canyon.
And the third one chose a longer path, which was bypassing the mountain, winding down the line.
After 7 days, the one who had climbed the steep path came to the point of exhaustion, full of bloody wounds.
Anxious he sat waiting for his friends. After another week, dizzy with the strong winds that had resisted him, he reached the second. He sat silently beside the first, waiting.
Another two weeks passed and the third came, his face shining with happiness, a sign of a deep state of tranquility and inner satisfaction.
The other two were angry because their journey was tough and they had much to expect, while the third road seemed to be a real pleasure.
So once they came to the old man, they asked him which road was best chosen. - What did you learn? He asked the first. - Life is heavy and full of dangers and weights; That it is full of suffering and often what I encounter can cause my injuries. That for every step forward, I have to take a struggling struggle that makes me lose my powers. So ... did I choose the best way for you? - Yes! You have chosen well ... And you, what have you learned? He asked the second. - That many things in my life can deviate; That sometimes I can lose my way, reaching a whole lot else than I wish ... but if I do not lose my confidence, I finally succeed. So ... did I choose the best way for you? - Yes! You choose well ... And you, what have you learned? He asked the last one. - That I can enjoy every step I make if I choose to be patient. That, if I look at understanding, life is not a heavy burden, but a miracle I'm glad to take part in. That the love that surrounds me from all sides can illuminate my soul if I let them enter. So ... did I choose the best way for you? - Yes! You have chosen well ... Amazed by the old man's answers, the three friends fell on their minds.

And they finally understood that at any crossroads they can choose ... and everyone's life is the result of the choices made.
