Footage of our Hives and New ideas [HD Video for Steemit]
We have been able to make a small video of one of our hives' activity in Vicopisano (Italy) and we're publishing the footage for the first time here on Steemit. Here's a small gif with a few frames
A satellite view of Vicopisano, on the Tuscany hills near Pisa, where our headquarter is
We disturbed the bees only for three minutes to make a cellphone video, because it's not good to pollute the hive area with electromagnetic emissions (the bees are very sensible to them!).
In fact, EMFs (electromagnetic fields) is one of the top four reasons why the bees are dying, the other three are:
- neonicotinoid pesticides
- GMOs
- geoengineering
(see Waking Science - What is killing bees)
We would like to create an indicator, EcoBEEMeter, to monitor our hives' activity (number of bees, number of flowers pollinated, quantity of honey produced, etc) but it will be based only on mathematic data, without using sensors or electronic devices that may disturb the bees and their natural environment.
Here's the full HD video of our hive, we also put our logo on the wood, using a video effect!
Currently is quite cold, winter is approaching, so the bees are quite lazy and ready to go into hibernation soon.
If you set the volume high, you will be able to listen to their buzz too!
Stay tuned for more news and follow us @mielediborgo !
I'm looking for videos to use in a Steemit Promotional video.
Does that video belong to you? If so, would you allow use of 1-second of it in our project?
Your project is very interesting, obviously the video belongs to us and we give you the permission to use it :)
Sorry for the late reply, let us know when you will publish it!
Great footage, resteemed :)

We've loved our bees buzzing too. Such a healthful sound. Thank you for sharing.
