HOUSE BLESSING! a Filipino tradition..

Hello fellow Steemians! just want to share the house blessing of my cousin's house.

House blessing!
It is very traditional for us as Filipinos to do this ritual that we called "blessing" in every house that is being done from construction and ready for occupancy. We do this to drive away evil spirits, bad luck and the like! Blessing is done by every spiritual superior such as a father or a priest and then the host or the owner of the house rather, must prepare food for the guests. This way is very calming and makes u comfortable and confident to live the house you have ever invested all your efforts and money with and make it a place we call "home". Where the members of the family share love and happiness with each other.
