First family trip to the desert! Arizona

Good day friends!!

Recently... Well, literally this morning... Me, my fiancé and our 11 month old baby went on our first ever family vacation!!! If you follow me, you'll know I live in a cold tundra called Canada. Where currently the temperature is - 16C with a windchilk of - 28C. So for us to... Fuck on outa here this time of year, it's quite normal for us Canadians. We were invited in a trip to sunny, dry, beautiful to say the least... ARIZONA PHOENIX!! We went with my partner (@ate-bit-dave), his employer and his family and had the time of our lives!!! Traveling with 8 adults and 5 children under the age of 5 was a journey and experience and a half. We had good days, happy days... Unfortunatly, Sick days... But not one sad day in sight! From take off in Manitoba to landing in Arizona and then take off in Arizona and landing in Manitoba 10 days later.. We managed to fit an ARAY of different fun activities into our schedules.

I'm not going to talk about all the fun things in one blog post, so I'll break them up in a few and you can follow along and view my lovely vacation. Or don't, I don't care. This scorpion below can eat you then. This blog is ultimately my type of diary but this community is my favorite.

The house we stayed in was a large, spacious, stunning, 5 bedroom home with a pool, hottub and tennis court!! We spent half the time making lovely meals at the home and half the time out and about at different restaurants. My new friends, Amanda.. Planned our outings and dinner menus and was absolutely amazing at it! Super mom that woman is and such a freakin inspiration, and new mom friend of course.

First time at in-N-out burger. I'd say I'd like to work here and wear this awesome hat all day long.

Mastro's ocean club restaurant was by FAR one of the best places I've ever eaten in my life. High quality food, service and delicious morsels to endulge in.

Located in Scottsdale, it's a must go to for sure!!!

Although not really geared towards children... We had no choice. There were a few kid friendly options for your children, and they didn't seem to mine.. Even my baby Heidi left smiling, despite her bawling half the time. Baha. #momlife

Some days we sat around the pool, ate food, drank cheap booze and watched the kids run around and splish splash away in the pool areas!

And of course, some mama and papa time while little miss tornado Heidi napped. #hottubtimemachine. Also, white claw is the absolute best yummy American drink ever. I wish they sold these at home, but even if they did they would cost a fortune cause our government regulates our liquor! #imafamousyoutubernow

I even got the chance to visit with my American cousin Jeff!!! Be resides in Texas but was in Arizona on work while I was! We decided to hit up Buffalo Wild Wings and have a brewski.

Despite my child being a walking tornado, pulling children's hair and stealing toys.. I like to think I'm a good mom N give her as many excursions and experiences in life that i can, N we wouldn't be able to do it without papa.
