About Webs

Picture of a Brazilian spider

Greetings, travelers.

Webs are intrinsically part of modern life. We're entangled in so many ways with each other, entagled with our responsibilities, entangled with tge unbearable weight of being, and if it was not enough, we are also virtually entangled by The Web.

The era of connectivity, without human connection.

I've always loved admiring spiders. Their dexterity, quickness, the way that their bodies function as a Web factory and an entanglering bailarina at the same time is truly singular.

An arachnid Web is one of the most resistant materials in nature. The World Wide Web is one of the most resistant creations in humanity.

I am dichotomycally excited and fearful for the next decades of the human civilization; maybe this uncomfortable unpredictability of reality has always accompanied the Homo Sapiens Sapiens. Maybe this is what define us as different. And I'm definitely not gonna state any judgment about if that is better or worse for us as individuals.

Today was not an easy day. I feel entangled by the paradoxical inevitabilites of work and boredom. Stressed out from responsabilities, and fearful of unbearable dullnesses. Surfing the unknown geometries of my destiny. Discovering the colors of my grays. Sewing the Web of my existence.

(Original photo of mine in the header, and if you know anything about spiders, I'd love an opinion about this Brazilian one. Take care :)
