When life is so hard and unfair, what next?
Life is hard.
Ask people around you, “How are you?”
Of course, the answer MUST be, “I’m great!”
Anyway, will there ever be an honest person who will say, ‘Yeah, life is hard.’?
Not because we are hypocrites. We just put different unspoken meanings to that. It can be, “I want a great day today.” Or “We are good, we are still friends.”
Whatever.
BUT, here’s the brutal fact.
There are days when life seems unfair.
Weeks of pain.
Months of bitterness.
Days become years of disappointment.
What you expected didn’t happen. But instead, much worse bumps on your way.
You are angry at yourself. You are angry to the people around you. You even forget that they are the one who really loves you. Friends are gone. Money is nowhere to be found. Good-ol’-days is just a fantasy of the past.
And you are angrier to life itself!
Loneliness creeps in and doubt starts to cloud your mind.
WORST, a day when you don’t wanna live anymore!
All people are facing struggles. And your responses during those times are crucial. You can end up broken because of the conclusions you have made.
Wrong conclusions that lead to wrong actions.
So, how you answer these hard questions will either break you or make you. You will become more bitter or better. And the answer to the title, When life is so hard and unfair, what next? - actually leads to more questions!
Does God really care?
Where is God in all of these bad and sad realities?
Can I trust God in my difficult situation?
What is my next step?
I don't have the answers. SORRY. I have my own answers. Or I should say, you must answer those questions personally. You need to struggle with yourself and make your own resolve of standing firm.
Children don’t care how they answer those hard questions. They don’t care what they will dress, eat or drink. They are just trusting their caregiving adults.
But you are no longer a child. You are now responsible of becoming more strong because your children and people of your influence are looking at you.
People are counting on you.
There’s NO NEED to be WEAK and FAINT-HEARTED.
You cannot afford to have a day or even a minute of giving up! Championships are won in a quarter-SECOND of time.
YES. People are counting on you. Don’t fail them.
Never give-up on yourself.
The way up is not easy. AND, here’s the catch...
Truth is needed here.
Honestly speaking, problems are there to help you acknowledge that you need a ‘Greater Being’ to lift you out of that pit.
It is NOT an emotional hype.
IT IS a process of hope.
You may call that a spiritual journey. Others call that spiritual awakening. Christians claim that new creation born-again experience.
The point is: problems should create inside of you a ‘hunger for God’. A longing of an experience of the supernatural.
Here’s the TRUTH:
We need a new perspective.
Creator engulfing the creation.
Unfallible strengthens the fallible.
The weak become strong.
And at the end of that soul-searching and answering all the hard questions of life, you will end up saying the right conclusion...
Life is hard. But, God is good.
You may ask me How are you? And I can answer back that life is harder than before, but God remains good all the time.
Keep the faith my friend.
You are loved by God,
NEVER GIVE UP ON HIM.
