Born to a middle class Brahmin family, Atal Bihari Vajpayee has an estimated net worth of $2 million. He served as the 10th Prime Minister of India. He filled the position twice. First was in 1996 where he only served for 13 days, and his second term 1998 to 2004.Atal Bihari Vajpayee has served India's lower parliament for nine times, and Upper Parliament twice. He remained active in politics until 2009 when he decided to retire due to some health reasons.

Still single, Atal Bihari Vajpayee has two children named Namita and Neharika who are both adopted. He is a graduate of Victoria College, which is now known as Laxmibai College.
