Chilly, but blue-skied morning. The way I feel today is better than usual, I suppose. Vague optimism. Maybe that’s overstating it. A glimpse is better. The early morning What’s app was the boss moaning that Big Gay Jay wasn’t awake and he was outside his house ringing him. As long as its not me. That’s all that really matters. The lack of anything better to talk about brings in the usual discussion of food. We have been eyeing up a Toby carvery up the road. It seems it does “all you can eat” breakfast. That’s enough of a lure but they also do a breakfast Yorkshire pudding?! I’ll keep you posted on that.

I rounded off the afternoon by popping into the “rents” to look at a small electrical issue my pops was having with the kitchen. It turned out that it wasn’t that small after all. I think, quite serious in fact. I’ll have to consult some electrician friends tomorrow. There is always some sort of problem with that cursed, old mansion they live in.

Carter has just made us dinner. All of a sudden, I’m shattered. It’s a bit early but I have been burning it. I’m working Saturday as well.

Have you had the all you can eat ? My son in law sees those as a personal challenge and I swear the chef cringes when he sees us walk in but depending which one you go to they are nice and a good price as well.
