A viable Alternative

You know what they say, "When Life gives you lemons you make lemonade"..

At fourteen, my dad lost his job as a banker, the bank where he worked was laying off their staffs and he was affected. That day, he came back earlier than usual looking dejected.

Getting a job in Nigeria is a very difficult task, he submitted his CV in different banks and organisations but non ever called him for interview. After much failed efforts he decided to join my mum in her stockfish business.

At first, it was hard to fit in bit with hardwork, diligence and determination he scaled through. My brother and I would help out during the holidays.

It's now a family business😁, we supply to hotels, restaurants, eateries etc. I guess everything happens for a purpose, because looking back now, I would gladly say that my dad lost his job for good..
