What you allow is what will continue.

I’ve always had a deep understanding for this quote because it is extremely true. It’s also a very diversified quote as it can be used in many different contexts. For me the most common context it’s been used in, is for people behavior. If you allow someone to mistreat you or to disrespect you then it will undoubtedly continue because this person will automatically think that it’s okay to be doing what they’re doing. And that is why I think it is always safer to put an end to something you don’t feel 100% comfortable with in order to keep yourself happy.
