Creating is a privilege, despite all the struggles that art introduces.
Somewhere in the world, there is an artist with a book in them that will never be written. Perhaps, they live under an oppressive regime that would punish them for publishing their ideas. They would give their life for the opportunity to create and for the freedom of expression, something that you and I enjoy without notice every day.
I can so much relate to that. There are deadly ideas which could caused me to be in a trouble but the secret is, I always hide them behind my travels, behind the food pictures. Only those who read will understand.
Hello, @Macchiata. Yes, I knew there would be Steemians that aren't as lucky as I am. I am disappointed to hear that you feel you must hide your ideas. It is probably wise that you continue to do so, but my heart goes out to you. I hope that you are one day able to express yourself more freely. I believe that artistic expression is a human right, and I will celebrate the day that we can all be free to create what we wish to.
