Passion - Life's Fuel

Groaning under her load, complaining about her task, crying that life is dealing her a dirty blow. This is how she lived everyday - knowing exactly the kind of activity that awaits her on the morrow.

She sat one day and asked mother nature, "How long will this continue?" And of which, she (Mother nature) answered her, saying, "It all lies within thine hand". She wanted to ask another question, "How doth thou mean?" Only she realized the Mother was long gone, moving on to another, in a different community who may have her own similar question.

Reflecting on Mother's response, "It all lies within thine hand", she began to see meaning. After some time, she confirmed that the Mother nature was right - indeed, it all lies in her hand: She has to make her own decisions. She then chose to do her work in a different way, to make it serve the purpose of mankind. It shocked her - before long, she was deriving satisfaction from what she was doing. Where she complained before, she now gave thanks; where she groans hitherto, she suddenly found herself singing and creating the melodies of happiness.

In this manner, she continued her work for a long while and strangely realized she started waiting for tomorrow to come and would not desire that today should end. She laughed at her new self, thanking mother nature for letting her understand that she was the only person responsible for how life treats her. So with passion, she is now determined to make more out of life. Not only that, she was going to pass it on to many others.
