The Power of Candles (Poem)

The reason why I choose to light,
Is because of its soothing image of sight,
It is not dim nor is it too bright,
compared to synthetic light I sense it is right.

The burning sound allows me to relax,
and enlightens my soul to the max,
It adds to my being,
and doesn't steal from me like TAX.

It burns all my troubles away,
and gives me hope,
that I will find a-way,
it gives me faith so I no longer need to pray.

The smell is so pure,
and for all my problems it is the cure,
and for my nose it is a lure,
when the burning ends I crave more...
