Taking a bloated fish out of a lake - nasty

My friend and I really wanted to go swimming. We walked to the other side of the lake and found a nice shady spot with a no swimming sign- but not only that. A dead, bloated, smelly, nasty fish was at the edge of the lake. I said nu uh! Aint no way I'm swimming next to that thang!
My friend was kind enough to take it out and put it in the trash.
