YOU HAVE TO BE PARANOID IF YOU WANT TO SURVIVE
If you’re a business owner or Entrepreneur, you should be terrified right now. Let’s say you are a startup in the IOT sector and a big player with deep pockets moves into your space and starts doing exactly what you’re doing. What will you do? You might say they are not ‘fast enough’ or ‘smart enough.’ You’d say I’m paranoid for even thinking about that. Well, listen, be paranoid, because the big players are gobbling the economy one sector at a time. And yours can be next.
But if you want to survive. If you have a business, differentiation is now more important than ever. It’s not just differentiation for yourself against competition that exist today but about doing it for the ones that will exist tomorrow. The big giants are disrupting the market, they did it before, they are doing it now and tomorrow they can do it with your industry. So, be vigilant if you want to survive in the business ecosystem.
