Kirsten was just 18 years old when she had her first opera at OSLO. In 1935 she debuted at the New York opera , and is (was) considered as doing one of the greatest WAGNER - interpretations.

Her biggest parts where Isolde in the play Tristan & Isolde, and Brunhilde in Wagner’s Nibelungen.

The boat she ordered was intended to be used at her country home in Åmli, however when the war broke out the lake was regulated, and Prikken was stored in a boathouse where it was basically left to deteriorate.

Seems to be a great and relaxing boat for voyaging while sitting down on the chair and drinking beer and enjoying the ocean view.

if you can appreciate the art of such craftsmanship its great work :)

What a marvel of workmanship! All wood, stem to stern, inboard engine, hand rudder control.

I agree. Its a lot of work for one person. A great piece of historic craftmanship.

It reminds me of my days at the International Sailing Academy when they taught us laser sailing downwind and we saw a man was hooking up his boat with a master technique.
Simply hats off to the craftsmanship this boat received.
