These Are Your Children Before Government Education

If the government is asserting itself over the arbitration
of what is real and what is fake news, how is this not an admission
that their forced education system has failed to such an extent,
that the populace, that has been forced through these schools,
at enormous cost, and egregious waste of time and life,
cannot think well enough to decide for themselves
what is true and what is fake?
If they are admitting to this level of failure,
then why should we allow them to take further control
over more aspects of our lives?
If you took your car to have a belt replaced, and the mechanic,
instead of fixing the belt, burned your car to a husk,
and beat the remains to pieces with a sledgehammer,
would you trust this person to be in charge of buying your replacement?
