When you don't get the deal you signed up to.
I'm actually at my wit's end. Doesn't matter what I let her away with, how much money I give her, or what I say to her, the response is just awful.
I understand the plight of single mums, I truly do. However, I didn't sign up to be one. I didn't throw my husband out, we didn't split, I don't hate him. It was never meant to be like this!
I've never been so alone, this is seriously the hardest life I've ever known. Five years on, and it's not getting any easier.
The walls of my emotions come tumbling down once more, and my heart is breaking....
I am sorry to hear about your loss and your current situation. I can't imagine how heartbreaking and crippling it can be to lose someone you love. Despite how hard things might seem, we are stronger than our tests. It is not easy being a single mum, but you can make it your life's mission to be the best mother there ever was, single mother or not. It's hard, but not impossible. Empower yourself by educating yourself on the best skills to raise a wonderful child, and even your child is giving you a hard time now, you can turn it around. Be a friend before a parent, and choose your battles carefully. Even more important, do things in your life that will make your child look upto you and be proud of you. This will increase their respect you without a doubt and trust you more. Every situation is different, but don't lose hope. You have already come a long way.
