A Family Strength
I see Life as a secret contract from God and we should not allow ourselves to be bruised. Family life is our strength and success.
We learned not to despair, even when our world was falling apart. We learned that there are no free lunches, sometimes we just fast and pray not because we actually intended to, but you know when there is no food on the table.
As an African child we are so trained and forbidden from eating or collecting from our neigbors, sometime they notice and give us food but we have to keep it till our parent return home.
And we also learned the value of hard work.
We learned about the strength you can get from a close family life. I learned to keep going, even in bad times.
1. We Practice resilience.
2. Self-Discipline.
3. Overcoming challenges.
4. Taking care of each other.
5. Enjoyable time together. A little boy asked, What do you think makes a happy family? Few replied that money, television sets, cars, or fancy apartment made a happy family. Most children said that a happy family is one that does things together, that truly enjoys the times family members and friends share with each other.
