Teens nowadays are exposed to alcohol and illegal drug use.
They prefer to use these to show to the people that they are mature enough to manage themselves. Smoking is the best way they use to, to memory and intelligence. Moreover, drinking liquor makes them look cool. But what is the reality behind these myths and misconceptions?
Illegal drug use destroys the future of the users in many aspects. It will ruin especially the behavior and attitude of the users. This is the main reason of the increased rate of crime and murder happening in our society. We often near news in television and radio about a man who raped his eight years old daughter or a grandson who raped his eighty years old grandmother. During interview, the rapist said he used prohibited drugs that he thought his granny was Ara Mina or his daughter looks like an angel who comes down from heaven. This is the effect of drugs abuse called hallucination. Drinking liquor on the other hand, posted various problems in our community. It pushes drunkards to do robbery, murder, rape and start petty fights.
Drug and alcohol addiction became a hobby of teens and adults alike without knowing the exacerbate effects to their health. Alcohol is like a serpent while smoking is like blazing yourselves on hell. You enjoy using it temporarily but the fact is its killing you little by little. These will destroy your respiratory and cardiovascular system as well as your whole being leading you to death and death is incurable lung cancer, high blood pressure, pneumonia, hepatitis A and B, hearth-related diseases, emphysema and asthma these are the most common illnesses that a user will gain.
What will happen to the bright future they dream then? Nothing, the vivid picturesque of their dreams and visions will be useless. Family relationship will become senseless and broken. Failure and high rate of absenteeism as well as the decreased interest in studies will likely to happen. There will be loss of determination, persistence, confidence and self-esteem. All these things drive an individual who takes drugs and alcohol to take suicide.
So, are you going to allow someone force nor influence you to try to season the perfect ingredients of death in your life? The choice is up to you.
This is so true, sometimes I wonder where did it all go wrong in this world, teens get so attached with drugs and alcohol intake with no remorse, it feels like bad is now the new trend and If you ain't participating in this new act you are termed as novice.. So sad
we have the intellect to decide if what we want so we will make a choice that has a good consequence in the future.

@lagria.daren As I remember many law makers from Liberal Party contradicted the management of Digong as president and on his war on drugs. Are they not affected by the many bad effects of drugs to many filipinos? They are actually selfish, putting much favor on the rights of many criminals.
I have known that drugs are made to be consumed for one to get well. But nowadays people abuse this substance and later abuse their bodied. Sad to see parents mourning for their children.
