The darkest building on the planet

At the Winter Olympics in South Korea, the darkest building on the planet was presented. The walls of the pavilion are covered with Vantablack VBx2 - a superheated material that absorbs 99.965% of the light.

The Pavilion was created by Hyundai Motors from the British architect Asif Khan and was built specifically for the start of the Olympic Games.

Its walls are treated with the Vantablack VBx2 pigment, which is a substance of carbon nanotubes and absorbs 99.965% of the emitted radiation: visible light, microwaves and radio waves. This is practically a "black hole" in the center of Korean Pong Chang.

In addition, the elements of the pavilion's walls are lighted with reminiscent stars. The surface of the building varies depending on your location.
