Apocalypse!
I was scared to the bones when I imagined the reality of the Apocalypse as portrayed in movies. Several Hollywood movies have tried to depict what the end of the world looks like. These apocalyptic movies used different events as causes to this doom.
While some of the movies like World War Z saw an end of the world (system) and not that of life, others see it as end of everything living and ever existed.
Different Ideologies
The question is, Is there anything like the end of the world.
Scientists have predicted that with the collapse of the ozone layer, the heat of the sun is going to melt our earth and destroy all life.
Different religions propounded that the Judgment Day is the day every man will be judged according to their works and those that have lived rightly will be rewarded with everlasting life and those who lived the wrong life will be punished. This view though, is not held by all religions.
Some philosophers think that anything that has a beginning must have an end even though they may not know how that is going to happen.
The Greeco-Roman belief holds that humans will turn gods when they die but not all, the bad guys will spend eternity in Hades.
What if it’s all True?
We may choose to falter some if not all of these claims. For example, recent discoveries show that the Ozone layer is self-healing. This simply means that the improvement in technology have reduced global warming which have been the cause of wearing off of the Ozone layer.
But what if these things are true even if it’s not the way they are depicted?
