Poverty as a hereditary claim
In this present world of ours, poverty has been embraced as another way of life, another means to survive. It's saddening that some parents have given up the hope to give their children the best of the best. Without putting into consideration the future of these children, they bring them into unconducive environment and surroundings.
The thugs and shabby looking men you see on the road harassing naive ones, or drivers who try to earn something, turned out to be who they are today because nobody paid attention to giving them a better life. Of course, we know of some case scenarios where some were brought into this world and abandoned, left to survive all by themselves. Grace worked for some while for some others they refused to look for a better life or adhere to those good and wise advise they received one way or the other.
"Make e no be like say my pikin no Sabi book"
Some parents decide to send their kids to school. Of which most of the time, some of them have to hawk or sell certain things the night before in order to earn something to feed the next morning or pay certain bills in school. For some others, their struggle starts in the morning before they head to school. For some others, environment conditions hinder them from arriving at school on time. Sometimes they look messy and unkempt after having to pass through floods or gutters just to be part of the generation that would one day say "I went to school".
Now, what about those, who never got the opportunity to cross those floods or gutters, or hawk before going to school, or buy textbooks to study. For some reasons their parents, believe school is a waste of money, instead, let's do this and that so that we can feed, pay other important bills, live and someday join our Father in heaven.
These ones then struggle...
Opportunities come their way and they try to make and use the best out of it, in every way they can because they do not want to belong among the status of children who were birthed into this life, lived an unremarkable life and leave planet Earth with no imprint or footstep to follow. These ones strive to become one of the best and then prove to the world that...
"Poverty is first of, a mindset that we have allowed to eat the deeper part of us, thus making our minds and brains lazy to think of means and ways through the right source, to survive and be the best in whatever we decide or set our mind or heart to do".

Things are really messed up but we still have to learn to change ourselves, our mind sets and then little by little the world will change.

It's not your fault if you were born poor, but it's your fault if you die poor.
When making life decisions, always think about your future and your unborn kids. Don't make decision just to favour the present situation.
A friend was said.. "don't struggle to eat, struggle to stay hungry. You shouldn't be comfortable because there's enough food to eat at present... Stay hungry for more success, more achievements, more food and obviously more money!!"
