A Thankful Day - Post Birthday

Yesterday was my birthday and at first I didn't expect to have any kind of celebration. Only to know at the very last minute that my best buddy (YS) from Kedah gonna meet me. Coincidentally, he just got his posting to a school in Shah Alam through Teach for Malaysia. Previously, he was a chemical engineer but due to his passion for teaching and love of interaction with people, he chose the education path. After waiting at least 3 months for the posting notification, he got the news at the very last minute, which is to report to the school the day after receiving the notification (kinda crazy for those living far from the posted school).

So we met up in Setia Walk and had a late dinner together in Brussels. We had a great catch up as we had not met since last October. Later then, my girlfriend @enjiliew finished her rotation duty and came for the celebration as well <3 She bought a lovely cheesecake with strawberry flavor (Pablo) for me. Also, 2 surprise gifts which I didn't capture in the photos :P We were all wore off for the day actually and so we leave the place at around 10:30pm. It was a small gathering yet joyful.

This morning, I was greeted by some new members around my residential area. 3 puppies strolling around. Had some fun with them before I went for my breakfast and start my work.
