The Sunny Side #5: Vincent van Gogh
I would rather die of passion than of boredom.
Too often we find ourselves bored with the very notion of living. Our senses are so overwhelmed by the busy-ness around us that we find we've lost the zest of life.
Day after day, we stare at our computers, lost in a world we've long since forgotten was not even real. We spend money on nothing tangible, usable, or even that we have a real interest in.
Gone is the spice that used to pepper your days. Missing is the sugar-sweet moments. Goodbye to the passionate days of yore, left behind for the pixilated codes of the virtual world.
So what is your passion? I'm not talking sexual or passing fancy or interest.
I mean passion!
What gets you moving in the day?
Why do you get out of bed?
What do you strive for?
What specific thing would you dedicate years or even your entire life to?
What would you be willing to accomplish, setting everything unimportant aside?
Do you have a drive? A reason for being? A motivation?
Are you going to die from being entertained by boredom?
Or are you going to create and magnify your potential into a diamond-hard resolve and amaze the world with your art?
Right now, make your decision, and every day make the same one. Commit! Bring yourself to your fullness and shine as bright as the most radiant star!
Because then, even if you don't make your final goal, you'll at least have lived and died from passion instead of mundane boredom!
