High blood pressure is also known as a silent killer, which causes different diseases and cholesterol is the biggest factor for this killer disease. Cholesterol is a soft substance, and it's fixed quantity is useful for human health, but if it increases then it is harmful to our health.

The major reason for increasing cholesterol rates is the use of fast foods and non-healthy food, which cause the high blood pressure, heart diseases and other diseases. Fresh fruit is very important to control the cholesterol rate because vitamins, minerals, and anti-oxidants involved in these increase the strength of the physical defense system as well as control the level of cholesterol at the healthy rate.

1) Strawberries.

In recent medical research reports, the daily use of strawberries reduces harmful cholesterol rate from 4 to 10 percent for the body. Strawberries have proved to be the best way of getting anti-oxidants.

2) Oranges.

Oranges do not give rise to cholesterol rate. Daily use of oranges or juice proves very beneficial, while the vitamin C involved in it also helps in protecting other diseases.

Vitamins C is also very high in lemon and it does not allow to raise the amount of cholesterol in the body. Further, the fiber systems included in it improve the digestive system, which also reduces the cholesterol rate in blood.

4) Blueberries.

Blueberries medical benefits often appear as it increases mental power protects from cancer as well as it is helpful to maintain cholesterol rate in general.

5) Apricot.

The apricot is rich in such ingredients that help in increasing beneficial cholesterol in the blood. In addition, it also has a high amount of antioxidants which can help protect various other diseases.

6) Apple.

Daily eating one to two apples reduces cholesterol rate and keeps the heart healthy, it has also been proven that antioxidants in apples do not allow cholesterol to be gathered in the cells. Similarly, this fruit is also beneficial to protect from obesity and we know that "An apple a day keeps the doctor away."
