Moving to Teopisca
Over the past year I moved from a busy city to a quiet ranching town in Chiapas, Mexico.
I'd like to share some of the photos and memories with you all.
Here is how we got our furniture down the mountain. We hired a guy with a pickup truck and he grabbed a couple of workers to help with the lifting.
After some time I met some locals who invited me for a hike to buy some property. We started the hike around six in the morning and after an hour and a half we were nearing the peak! From here you can see the whole town of Teopisca.
We found some edible mushrooms and a lot of unknowns but they were all nice for the camera!
Soon we arrived to the land that the locals want to buy. We had some lunch and I found this young snake on the side of the trail while I was grabbing kindling for the fire. It might be a Nauyaca or Bothrops asper which is a venomous pit viper common to the area.
After marking the area with the machete and fallen trees we were done for the day. I saw some fancy cows on the way down the trail and that's all for now.
I hope you enjoyed this post. I tried to share only the good photos and show something new.
I'm just now warming up to the idea of blogging and I plan on doing this more often.
