First of all, I flew across the country alone and wasn't sure what to do with myself. When I travel, I usually travel with the kids plus 10 suitcases, car seats, strollers, diaper bags, etc. It is a TON of work to travel with our large family. It was different going alone this time and to be honest, I enjoyed it!

My husband had some fun things planned for us during that weekend. The first day we decided to spend the day in Orlando at Universal Studios. I had never been before so I was so excited!! He and I are huge Harry Potter fans so it was HEAVEN being able to explore Harry Potter World. We walked the parks until we had blisters on our feet. We laughed way too much, drank the infamous "Butter Beer," rode rides until we felt like we were going to throw up, and overall just really enjoyed every moment together! :)

We had about ten minutes until the park closed so we decided to hurry up and get in line to ride one more ride....The Hulk roller coaster. It was dark, pouring rain, we were going 50+mph with rain hitting us, sitting in the very FRONT row, going upside down, around & around...it was definitely an adrenaline rush. I couldn't open my eyes and the rain felt like needles hitting my skin BUT my goodness... IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! We felt like kids again!

The following day he took me to the Rolex 24 race in Daytona. Originally, I wasn't too excited about going to this race (yawn..boring! it's a guy thing right?!) but after we got there, I had A BLAST and it ended up being my favorite part of the whole trip! Those cars were so cool, they lit up, and were going so fast! My favorite cars were the C7 Corvettes....the looked and sounded so sexy! eeeeeek LOL. We drank beer, ate food, looked at vintage cars, and enjoyed the night while a live band played.

The next day we decided to go back to Universal Studios since we had a 4-day pass. We checked out Jurassic Park. We waited in line for, what we thought was a ride, but was actually A REAL LIFE DINOSAUR. Haha jk it was an animatronic robot. You guys....I was so so so incredibly terrified, this thing looked and sounded so real.
