Planet overheating: temperature records of last week
This summer — one of the hottest in the history; from every corner of the world messages about absolute temperature records, from the hottest temperatures of summer till the hottest nights come.
Records happen inspiring (as a jump of this robot), just beautiful (as the longest rainbow), and happen also disturbing — for example, connected with global warming. We have already got used that every month average temperature on the planet breaks a record of the same month of previous year, and this year, apparently, not to escape also from absolute temperature records — where you have gone, surely you will appear under some thermal dome.
Last week temperature records have been registered in many settlements of the Northern hemisphere, from Canada to the Middle East. In Quebec 33 persons have died from a heat, the Canadian mass media report; temperature rose up to 32 °C in the north of Siberia, at the coast of the North Sea — it is 22 degrees higher usual for the middle of summer in the Polar region.
Separately any of these temperature records isn't explained by global warming, but combined they force climatologists to speak about unprecedentedly warm summer on all planet.
North America: The heat has set in in the east of the USA and the southeast of Canada; there not only is hotter usual, but also it is very damp. Denver, on June 28: 40,5 °C — an absolute record for all history of observations
Mount Washington, night for July 2: 15,5 ° - the most high temperature in the most cool time of day
Montreal, on July 2: 36,6 °C an absolute record for all history of observations — and it is 147 years, meteorologists also note a combination of high humidity and temperature at night.
Europe: Scotland, on June 28: 33,2 °C — the absolute record for all history of observations is registered in several kilometers from Glasgow. The previous record has fallen on August, 2003. In Glasgow this day record temperature — 31.9 °C was established too
Ireland, on June 28: 32 °C — the absolute record for all history of observations in the country has been set up in the city of Shennon. In the same day meteorologists have registered record-breaking high temperature in Belfast (29,5 °C), next day — in the village Kaslederg (30,1 °C).
Eurasia: Tbilisi, on July 4: 40,5 °C — an absolute record for all history of observations.
Yerevan, on July 2: 42 °C — an absolute record for all history of observations
Middle East: Oman, on June 28: 42,6 °C — a record of the lowest temperature within a day on Earth for all history of observations. Here and there in the desert temperature at noon rises also higher than seventy degrees, but deserts are famous for cold nights. And here to unfortunate residents of Kiriyat in Oman 42,6 °C were necessary to be reconciled more than fifty hours with air more hotly.

I want to add little more dear @keks. An important climate change is experienced from last year in lstanbul, Turkey. Rainy days density is increased in summer and unexpected heat waves visiting other part of country. It looks like the humanity start to watch its magneficent "dystopic movie".
Another great read. Thanks for sharing.
