Patience is the companion of wisdom
Some people will never truly master the art of how to be patient and from time to time we all struggle with patience. Sometimes, a certain situation or a particular person will simply take us to the limit, so it is much more difficult for us to continue to preserve patience.
Once you lose patience, things will tend inscrutably to go wrong, it becomes harder to concentrate and it becomes harder to be polite and polite to others, if you are working on a project of any kind and you lose your patience, you will often find that you have to leave your job until you have recovered your composure.
Learning how to have patience takes time and paradoxically you have to have patience to learn to be patient. Patience is acquired as wisdom is acquired and wisdom is the daughter of experience. No one is born wise just as nobody is born patient. As you learn, grow and experience things in your life, you will become a wiser person. When you are a wise person you know how to react to certain situations, you also know how to interact with many different types of people.
At first it can be disconcerting that someone at work does not agree with you. This could make you nervous or it could even happen that a suggestion of yours is dismissed simply because the other person has been in the company for a longer time. However, with experience you will learn to elaborate your arguments so that you present your opinions clearly and concisely. With experience, you will be less likely to be frustrated when a similar situation presents itself. The wisdom you have gained from the experience will help you to give you the patience you need when dealing with someone who does not agree with you. Some corporate environments can be particularly aggressive and the more patience you have, the better you will be able to cope with that environment. Time will bring the patience that will help you excel.
Although it can be difficult, you must try to be patient in your life. It will help you in almost all situations. You must bear in mind that patience will come with experience and wisdom. Although it will take time, most people eventually learn to be more patient than they were when they were young. You will have to work on it and yet patience will not come by itself. Age does not always mean that someone is wise and wisdom does not always mean that someone is patient, although often both go hand in hand.
"Whoever has patience will get what he wants."
Benjamin Franklin
So, what are you going to do to be more patient?
