My fiance came back from her grandmother's funeral tonight, and said she regretted that she hadn't visited her grandparents last month.
My mother didn't feel well so she went to bed in this morning, and she hadn't got up since then. My father said. He asked me whether I'd be able to take her to hospital if she wouldn't feel okay tomorrow, because he'd have to go to work.
She had been diagnosed cardiac hypertrophy a couple of month ago.
I said "No, I've gotta go to work."
Have I?
Why can't I simply be with her to care for her?
Why do I have work more to be less close to my fam?
Why am I serving for someone else's life?

At which point would you have been the happiest?
I decided I needed a break from working life after the earthquake in 2011. I saw people lining up to get on a train to go to work and heard from friends that it took 3 hours to get there. Everyone was traumatized after hearing about the tsunami and we didn’t know if the reactors would explode or if the quake in Fukushima would trigger one in Tokyo. Still people would wait three hours to get to work....it didn’t feel right to me.

That's so wrong... Even such trauma couldn't wake people up from the insanity of this country. A wrong form of loyalty.
