lol! OMG this has me cracking up. I can see myself in many of these situations. I kill spiders though. Used to let them out, then became a mother and had an invasion of spiders in my house. Turned into a spider killer. I cringe every time I do it, though, and bless the poor creature as I squish it. As for socially awkward, I'm there with you, sista'.
