Learning to love and understand oneself is the beginning of allowing someone

Learning to love and understand oneself is the beginning of allowing someone else to love and understand you. From there it’s about being open and wanting to be understood by another. Finally it’s having the knowledge that we will never fully understand each other because we’re human and we change constantly as is the human condition, but....accepting this and being open to evolving and learning from each other allows love to grow and flourish. Declaring love without taking the time to truly know someone is just futile.
