ONES UP ON A TIME
Once in my village in 1957 to 1960 there was no running water in our homes, but there was a spring with plenty of cold water, so cold that we were betting children in summer, who would stand to keep his feet in the water for longer. In 1931 a faucet was fired at the source, under a large one where water flowed out of 6 brass tubes with such a momentum that sounded like a motor car.
The summers were the coolest part of the village and it was very pleasant to have lunch.
I remember what it was nice to put watermelons in the water to cool down and have them hang out with our friends.
This beautiful memory was the reason I painted later the table you see.
This is my first post, i hope you like it. Pleese forgive my non perfect english.
