Agricultural occupations half a century ago in my village

Several years ago, when almost all the inhabitants of the villages of Greece were engaged in agriculture, they picked up and unpacked their production in simple ways, without the use of special machines. For example, for the corn cut, they did it by holding the fruit vertically on a wooden bunch and squeezing the seeds with the back of a tool that they normally used to harvest the wheat. It was not a random choice of the tool, they did it because it was light and it took off the seeds without breaking them.
This work was definitely done in the summer, usually in the evening, both for the low temperature and for the neighbors who would come to help.
It was something like a celebration, an opportunity to meet, discuss, learn a lot of news. Generally they had a pleasant situation.
Now, some women in my village, nostalgia at that time, decided to revive that one habit for a day, and I was there and gave these pictures.
