Cabs are good for me because they help me get to a place faster and bad for me because they cause pollution and i end up less time walking or exercising. (Hint: spelling mistake in title)

Lame jokes apart, balanced diet is the best and that involves eating carbs. Carbs are what give us energy and you're right, focus on fibre rich carbs and not processed ones. Avoid white flour and eat brown flour. Or healthy grains such as quinoa. Its the junk that is problematic.
