I should post more ... but I’ve been so busy 😫 | Life update!

I am told often that I should post more, this is a normal issue for me. Usually my response is -I don’t have anything to talk about, and then I’m reminded that I don’t always have to post about something rather I can just post fun stuff about my life. 👀

I’ve never really considered myself a blogger or content creator, and most of my work on Steem happens behind the scenes, which keeps me busy. But it turns out to get rewarded for that work, you have to post 😁 ha, I’ll never grasp the concept I guess.. and I always just think I need something to post about.

I do love being a part of this community though and find we all are so close because we do share things about our lives ❤️ I just am not always so great about it.

Well this time that’s not even my excuse, I actually have lots of things I want to talk about -

• @steemonboarding’s new kick ass contest to get people on Steem. 🙌🏼

• A super special package I received from @goldmatters that I need to unbox. 😍

• My campaign to try to get @rustle to Cali that I haven’t even started! 🤦🏻‍♀️

• Finishing the #steemvision project. 👩🏻‍💻

• Also, maybe try to make a few videos to try to explain aspects of Steem I find seem to still confuse people.. as in the rewards/inflation pool and the proposed downvote pool as well as why I think a well funded SPS (Steem.dao) could be a game changer for Steem. Even though the idea of talking about downvotes and how dang popular that will make me isn’t something I’m looking forward to 😂 but I think discussing these things in “normie” ways is needed.. so it’s on the list too. 🗣

but all the things have still not happened and I think it’s been about a week since I last posted.. as I’ve just been so busy with life 😫

Life

Yeah.. busy time of year for me and lots of things happening. SO until I can get all those super interesting things out, I’ll just tell you about all the things keeping me so busy.

New additions to the family

Yep, we got goats. And they are just as much fun as I thought they would be!

My daughter has been wanting them for awhile. Her local 4H group shows Pygmy goats and while she has been learning along with them, I had put off the actual getting of them for awhile.. but I finally gave in.

And they are super cute 😍

But a lot of work. We had to build a pen for them that was safe but also easy to move so they could get some fresh grass.. plus they are babies and that means they need some attention haha.

My daughter is actually outside reading to them right now, no lie. She’s pretty adorable. 😊

So yes, goats... goats have been keeping me busy.

Plus house building!

Yep, still building the house, slowly but surely.

I should have recorded how we got that large upper piece in there, it would have been entertaining... but I was too busy trying not to die.

That’s the window to the little ones hidden reading loft off of her room. It’s hard to tell from the photos, but it’s going to be pretty cool. I’m only slightly jealous...

It’s coming along nicely though!

Running a Non profit event

Yeah, I hadn’t really planned this one. My family runs an event to raise money for a local non profit started by a family that lost their daughter to leukemia.

All the funds go to local families with children battling cancer. Over the last 10 years the organization has not only provided payment for expenses of those families, but also provided a whole cancer wing in the local hospital with housing for families as well. It’s a pretty amazing organization.

Since I am home now I had of course volunteered to help, but I didn’t realize that meant I would now be taking on the event 😄

It’s been very time consuming but also so rewarding because it’s for an amazing cause.

So lots of organizing, planning, marketing, etc etc etc

This morning I am trying to use my fancy camera to get some shots of the champion buckle (that is one of the items that will be auctioned off that evening), for some advertising I’m having printed.

I think I finally got the shot...

Next on my list today?

Well I have another huge event I’m running tomorrow that I need to prep for, but I need coffee first.. then probably take a goat break before getting back to work.

because who doesn’t need a goat break?

Anyways, that’s what I’ve been up to...

I swear I’ll post super interesting things soon, until then you get my ramblings about my busy week plus some goats thrown in.
