Out There (Today’s Morning Inspiration)

Life, adventure, love, happiness…everything. It’s all out there for us to discover. And that’s the journey that we must undertake.

Let’s set goals, let’s chase dreams, let’s be free. Live the life that you would if you truly believed that anything was possible. Because how many of us truly believe that anything is possible? And I mean absolutely anything. Take the craziest thought in your head, and think about the actual steps you would need to take to make that thought a reality. That’s when you know that you truly believe. You want to climb Everest? Do it. You want to leave everything behind, move to a different country, and start your own business? Do it.

Too often we don’t live with belief that anything is possible, and only wish we had when we hear about those who beat all odds with their circumstances, to truly show with their achievements that anything is possible. I’m looking at you, Susan Boyle.

Let’s not look back with longing and regret of what could have been, but look forward to the vastness of the possibilities.

Let me leave you with a literal vs. figurative comparison. I would say that all we seek is only a journey away. It may be a long, arduous path, or simply a distance of 10 paces. Or maybe both. Perhaps the promotion you seek to an upper management position takes 4 years of hard work, just so that you can get the salary bump and the corner office. The corner office that is only 10 small steps from where you sit now. But, oh, those 10 paces can truly feel like a world away…if you don’t believe it’s possible.

Thus, everything changes with how you look at it, because every possibility is out there. Sometimes it just takes changing our perspective and reevaluating our doubts, to turn them into motivation instead.
