Where do I begin. Actually I better not get started. You cover so much in your post. I don't know what to address.

You hate your school for being ugly and having low prestige. The course you're taking sucks. Yet when you find a professor who is funny then everything is good. So there is gold among the garbage. There always is. Look for it.

What ever you decide, you must be true to yourself. But hearing that, don't just quit school. What does it mean to be true to yourself?

Think before you quit.

Consider making a sacrifice to someone you don't know and have never met.

That person is you, ten years later. Would a ten year older Alice thank you for having stayed in school?
