Do you think the that AI demonetising Youtube videos is working with a purpose?

Everyone one knows that there is something going on with Youtube content rewards system.
Since Youtube RED has appeared more and more often we are seeing demonetised videos on the content creators that decided not to join Youtube RED, is this coincidence or maybe pavlov conditioning?
Is this a mechanism to discourage content creators from publishing on Youtube and move to Youtube RED?
I've recently joined another blockchain based content distribution system LBRY and started moving my videos from Youtube to Dtube, this is in my view the best way to go back to freedom of publishing content without having to worry what music is playing in some background shop in the middle of wherever place that you did not plan to record or use as enhancement for your video.

In essence what Youtube is doing is taking advantage of all the content created by the users of the platform and making even more money than what we already knew they were making... well we all should know that this is normally where all business end up... one has to make more profit for the shareholders. right?

But why am I talking posting about this? A couple of days ago I received a notification that a content creator that I follow on Youtube posted on LBRY, and I found it interesting but also an important step, if a well know creator joins LBRY then the platform is gaining traction. So I went to check out the reasons why he joined. And to my (not) surprise the reason was the recent demonetising of some of his content by Youtube.
In essence what he recounts is, that he posted on Twitter a response to a viewer saying that fortunately none of his content had been demonetised. However, coincidently the first video he published after that post was indeed demonetised... Oh! ok... so Youtube not only is running some AI bots on the Youtube platform but some of it's AI bots are also looking at other platforms? Interesting... or maybe only coincidence?

If you analise the lifecycle of a publication on Youtube the curve is typically a quick peak followed by a tapper down and then a steady number of views over time.

So, maybe it is only coincidence but if Youtube flags something as demonetised as soon as you publish your videos and you go through your peak of views, even if then the demonetised flag is removed (because it was incorrect) in essence what happens is that you loose the majority of your revenue...

I wonder if this is coincidence or working as designed... and in reality is a tactic to minimise the payments to the content creators... ?
