I lock the pain away
I lock the pain away
every morning I try to start afresh
this life full of lies, some mine some yours
but I die more than I live everyday
The pain engulfs me suddenly
a vise around my heart
breathing becomes difficult
being up on my feet a tremendous effort
if I can just crumple down, curl up and die
I will have the best day of my life
and through all of this I have to pretend
like its any other day of my happy existence
