A summary of my poetry challenge!
Well, it has been a very fun week! Let me explain why.

So, I wrote poetry for seven days straight... how did it go?
I personally think it went quite well! I had a lot of very nice word suggestions and although I had to use old suggestions, I could still write a poem every day! I even made an Excel sheet... who does that anymore...
All of the word suggestions I got from people
Perhaps I should also explain the meanings of the poems?
Oh well, alright then, perhaps I should.
Poem number one: "A sleepy lover"
The first poem talks about a lover and his wife. The lover was killed in his sleep by an intruder while he was sleeping next to his wife. Now the wife sleeps with a knife in her hand to protect herself. A big thank you to @kristves for her words!
Poem number two: "Conflict"
The second poem talks about motivation to keep going, seeing others succeed and finally succeeding yourself. Once again, a big thank you to @jacobts for his words.
Poem number three: "Paris"
The third poem talks about people, who have been badly hurt by love and how to not make them feel bad again. Thank you to @frankk for his words!
Poem number four: "You are the gears that keep me going"
The title of the poem speaks for itself - you have finally found someone, who can easily make you get up from bed in the morning and someone, who will take you into their arms at night. A thank you to @axynos for giving me his words!
Poem number five: "Isolation"
The fifth poem is about how children often cope with their parents' arguing and... often enough, find themselves taking the leading role in the end. Thank you to @kassixo for her words!
Poem number six: "I am different"
This poem was meant to feel as a metaphor to never leave people behind, even if you don't like them a lot - never throw them in the corner... or on the ground. Thank you to @kassu for his words!
Poem number seven: "Lase mind sisse külma tormi eest"
Ah! An Estonian poem! Well, I can, at least, explain the meaning: When at first you feel as if someone does not easily let you in - that doesn't mean you should stop trying. It just means that you should either take it a bit more slowly or go full-speed ahead and offer them exactly what they need. Or at least try. TRY! Thank you to @paperdragon for his words!
All in all, I had a very fun week!
I am one of the people, who don't easily find inspiration in everything... but this turned out quite well, didn't it? I will definitely be doing this again in the future, it was a very fun experiment! Perhaps if I have a bit of a bigger readership and the randomizer will be a bit more fun! Thank you to everyone who participated!
Glad to hear your week full of poetry went well! Definitely looking forward to what you come up with next! :)
Thanks a lot! :)
Wow! I'm just now coming across this; I didn't see the original Challenge, but what a great idea!
It's also a beautifully presented post. And, I love the fact that a creative mind like yours is also analytical in that you used a spreadsheet. Love spreadsheets!
You were late this time, but perhaps you won't be late the next time. Thank you very much though! :)
