Acorn of the Day 7/15/18 - Don't Just 'Be Yourself' - Be Polarizing

When anyone is asking for dating advice or how to impress people, the cliche response is 'Be yourself'.

While this is true, what is much more effective is to be polarizing, or having strong opinions.

In American society today, with SJWs and the like it is becoming less popular to question mainstream narratives or push people's thoughts past the status quo.

Being polarizing on subjects being discussed will make you stand out and make yourself interesting to others. Now polarizing by definition implies that you may/will offend others - which is totally fine.

This is fine because if you have such an opinion that someone disagrees with you on and dislikes you as a result, then you were never going to get along anyway.

Being polarizing will weed out acquaintances who were not going to be more than that and align yourself with others who truly like you and want to be your friend...or maybe potential spouse.
