It really is risky to write about any of the polarizing topics. I just don't, myself. I haven't worried so much about being downvoted or flagged, although now that you mention it, I realize that's probably the best reason not to go there. I just think we all need to realize that no one has all the answers, and that no matter what you believe there are going to be plenty of people who vehemently disagree to the point of being annoyed or angry at your expressed views. It's not worth it.
